Climate change and wine

Can winemaking continue in Spain if temperatures
What will happen to the great wine regions of Europe?
Will they be replaced by wineries in Scotland, Sweden and northern Siberia?
How will wines and wine making change in a hotter environment?
To further explore these questions and more, the Second Climate Change and Wine Conference will be held here in Barcelona next week (Feb. 15 and 16).
Al Gore, leading wine maker Michel Rolland, and viticultural expert Dr. Richard Smart and many other experts will be making presentations at the event, which will take place at the Hesperia Tower Hotel.
The first Climate Change and Wine Conference was held with great success in 2006.
Post script: I'll be attending the conference and will be reporting on it in later posts.
