Bottles in my recycling bin

In a repeat of a post I did some time ago, I took note of the wines in my recycling bin as I emptied it this morning. The wines we have been enjoying most recently are:

Bestue 2003, Tempranillo - Cabernet Sauvignon
A truly enjoyable wine with a slight touch of raspberry, nice balance and good finish.

Imus 2004, Garnacha - Mazuelo (a.k.a. Carignan)
From the up-and-coming region of D.O. Montsant (next door to Priorat), this wine was made from 20 year old vines and has solid character with a real value for money.

Valmiñor 2003 Albariño
The Peñín Guide gives this wine 84 points, but we all thought it was nicely balanced and not overly fruity.

Laus 2003, Tinto Roble (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo)
This wine was aged in a combination of French and American oak for 5 months. It has good structure and is very pleasant.

Mestres Coquet 2002 Cava
This Cava has a really intense aroma and good crispness in the mouth without being too acidic - really great!
